NGS Technologies and Services for Agrigenomics

Accelerating in-house targeted GBS installation

Amp-Seq One supports targeted genotyping by sequencing through a simplified one-stage workflow designed for high-throughput agricultural genotyping. The workflow enables same-day library preparation and supports thousands of markers per sample, helping breeding programmes scale genotyping operations efficiently.

Targeted genotyping with Amp-Seq One

Amp-Seq One combines targeted sequencing and multiplexing to support genomic selection, marker-assisted selection, parentage testing and seed quality control applications. Custom and pre-designed panels are available for plant and animal breeding workflows.

Flex-Seq™ for breeding programmes

Flex-Seq™ is a high-throughput targeted genotyping platform that supports genomic selection, parentage testing and population genetics studies. The platform enables targeting of thousands of markers while maintaining compatibility with legacy genotyping datasets.

Applying Flex-Seq™ to crop improvement

Flex-Seq™ uses targeted hybridisation probe technology to recover selected genomic regions for sequencing analysis. The approach supports scalable genotyping programmes and can be adapted by adding or removing markers as breeding requirements evolve.

Capture-Seq for marker discovery

Capture-Seq is designed for characterising hundreds of thousands of genomic targets and supports applications including SNP genotyping, haplotyping, QTL mapping, genomic selection and candidate gene identification. The technology generates sequence data across targeted regions rather than SNP based approach.

Agricultural NGS technologies and services

NGS technologies support plant, livestock and aquaculture genetics through high-throughput DNA analysis. Applications include marker discovery, genomic prediction, genome-wide association studies (GWAS), targeted genotyping and whole genome sequencing.

Restriction enzyme-based GBS

Restriction enzyme-based genotyping by sequencing approaches, including nGBS and ddRAD, support SNP discovery and genome-wide marker generation. These methods are particularly useful when reference genome sequence information is limited or unavailable.

Whole genome and skim sequencing

Whole genome sequencing and skim sequencing can be used to explore population diversity and characterise structural variation across genomes. These approaches support genome exploration and marker discovery applications in agrigenomics research and breeding programmes.
